About Tommy:
I am a 35 year old photographer and visual artist from Sweden. I work with photography and digital image editing, creating minimalistic and self-reflecting surreal photo montages dealing with human nature, feelings and thoughts.

For me it was when I finally admitted to myself that something needed to change before it was too late. It was not easy to work up the courage, but talking about it with my friends and family and the response and support I received was a tremendous relief. I feel that being able to be open about it with myself and with my family and friends was a huge step on the way upwards.

Slowing down
Reach out. Fighting depression is much easier with the support of other people, instead of trying to do it alone. Know that there is always someone to listen and support you, be it friends, family or a professional.
