Do you find yourself tired of facing feelings of anxiety, “being stuck,” sadness, low motivation, or a lack of self-love? Are you interested in creating a stronger sense of self, understanding your choices, and digging into the roots of why you feel the way you do? Are you interested in looking at your past, taking power back over your story, and learning about new ways to take a look at things? Do you want to learn more about how our physical health can influence our emotional well-being? Together, we can look at your past, present, and future goals, and provide you with an understanding of what this means to you. My therapy approach uses CBT, ACT, Narrative, and more, but our work would be unique to your goals and needs.

I support people to better understand who they are and what they need in life to feel whole. Our therapy together can help you explore and understand the past, live in the present, and build for a meaningful future.
My counselling approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modality about helping you stop fighting with your thoughts and feelings to focus on what really matters to you. I have experience with relationship struggles, grief, ADHD, trauma, and addiction.

I’m a laid-back and direct therapist who gets the unique challenges men face when it comes to emotional vulnerability. I provide a supportive space where you can openly explore your feelings at your own pace. My goal is to help you navigate and come to terms with the emotional struggles you may be experiencing.

I believe every individual has a unique experience that requires therapy that is tailored to them. In the safety net of psychotherapy, you will explore your life experiences, gain new perspectives, reframe experiences positively, and learn new adaptive skills. If you have anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, twice-exceptional, or are an immigrant or a caregiver, I will work with you to help gain skills that will make it easier to manage and improve your mental health, maximize your potential at work, advocate for yourself, and improve your relationships. You are brave to take part in a journey that can be overwhelming and frightening and I look forward to accompanying you on this path to self-growth.

I am honored to help those desiring meaningful change in their lives – personal mental, emotional and behavioural change is some of the most difficult work one can do and that is why most avoid it. From 27 years of practice and having worked with very challenging situations, I have refined my therapeutic approach to quickly assist with understanding of your symptoms, the real problem and practical strategies to gain relief. Therapy is a process yet a ‘deep dive’ into what troubles you can be achieved within a few sessions! I am determined to assist in the most effective and efficient way!

I offer a welcoming, down‑to‑earth space where men can speak openly and be met with respect, curiosity, and understanding. Many of the men I work with are navigating stress, relationships, anger, identity, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected.
My approach is collaborative and practical, helping you better understand yourself, build emotional awareness, and develop tools that actually fit your life.

I hear you. I believe in you. I care. I believe therapy is beneficial because it allows people to share their stories in an environment that is safe and considers their unique needs. I strive to validate people’s emotions (because they are understandable), to highlight their strengths (because sometimes people can’t see them) and to build hope (because it can be restored). My approach draws from the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred techniques amongst others. I aim to help people better understand emotions, process difficult experiences, address unhelpful behaviours and work towards the life they want.

Men need better mental health support.
The weight of responsibility and lack of support can cause men to tough it out, leading to internal struggles and unaddressed mental health issues.
At The Stigman Group we address head-on the stigma surrounding men’s mental health – for men, by men.
We believe that strong, capable men are essential for a thriving society. By providing tailored support and empowering men to prioritize their mental well-being, we aim to help them reclaim their manhood with resilience, authenticity, and strength.
It’s time to break the stigma.

I have been practicing since early 2015 and have a diverse clinical background, including experience in sex therapy, trauma, depression, anxiety, couples counseling, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and addictions/recovery.
I utilize a collaborative approach to therapy where I’ll explain what we’re doing and why and we’ll engage in the process together. Therapy can be challenging, but can help you to live a better life.

My approach is about exploring neglected strengths and inaccurate narratives to build awareness of subconscious habits that serve you no purpose. My trauma-informed, solutions focused approach aims to help you productively navigate through grief, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict and other life stressors. Together we are going to regain a healthier, more knowledgeable version of ourselves that has the resilience to manage life challenges.
