- We do not automatically gather any personal information such as your name, phone number, email, or address. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, through contacting us via email, by opting into a survey or contest, or by opting to receive electronic newsletters or other information. Contact information will be used for our email newsletters and to notify contest winners and award prizes. Contact information including the name, email, and the time and date of your sign-up (and not Self Check, Stress Test, or survey scores and other data) will be stored in Mailchimp, a third party email marketing company that stores data outside of Canada, providing us with the functionality to better contact and follow up with you via email.
- Any personal information provided to us will not be sold to any third party.
- We use Google Signals data collection to access Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting data about our traffic via Google advertising cookies and identifiers, in addition to data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation. This collects visitor information and associates it with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalization – this helps to provide information so we can better understand who are visitors are.
- Such data may be accessed and/or deleted by end users via My Activity.
- Data collected from Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting will not be used for the purpose of interest based advertising.
Self Check and Stress Test
- Research objectives associated with our Self Check and Stress Test features are to identify the types of depressive symptoms and stressors that are commonly reported by men.
- We use “cookies” to pair anonymous site visitor submissions to our Self Check and Stress Test for research purposes and to inform the development of new website content. When consent is provided in our Stress Test, basic site visitor demographic information is collected for research purposes.
