I bring a genuine, encouraging, humourous and deeply caring approach to my work.

In my work with men, I provide a down-to-Earth space to sort through what’s happening emotionally, mentally, and relationally — without shame or pressure. Whether your goal is to change specific behaviours, communicate more effectively, understand triggers, or reconnect to yourself and the people around you, we move at a pace that feels safe and workable.
Ultimately, my job is to support you in building a life where you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to trust yourself — in your relationships and in who you’re becoming. If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again — calmer, clearer, more connected, and more in control of your life — I’m here to walk alongside you in that process.
I am part of the Vancouver Vitality Collective team and sessions with me can be booked via text at 855-425-4310.

For 18+ years I have assisted adults struggling with mental health issues, substance use, trauma, anger, grief, as well as isolation and disconnection. I use a collaborative approach with clients to develop treatment plans, and goal setting. You know your experience — your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours — better than anyone else. I incorporate mindfulness into my therapy practice to aid in anxiety reduction, productivity, self-awareness and confidence. I have studied and include in my practice other approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, secular Buddhism, narrative, Imago (for effective couples’ communication) and emotion-focused therapy.

I worked as a chef for 10 years before becoming a therapist, an experience that exposed me to all sorts of men’s issues. I have a background and training in addiction, anger, trauma and sense of self. My aim to to take a lot of the nonsense out of counselling; I want to work WITH people, to hold them accountable and to support them as they grow.
My therapeutic background is in values clarification, childhood trauma, anger, sexuality and personhood, fields that I aim to integrate into sessions in order to build better experiences.

You don’t have to carry this all on your own. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering a space of refuge and belonging for men navigating shame, stress, disconnection, and self-doubt. If you feel stuck in emotional or relational patterns, overwhelmed or shut down inside, longing for connection but unsure how to feel safe in it – you’re not alone.
My practice is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and self-compassion. I work beyond traditional talk therapy by engaging the body and mind to support clients in moving beyond survival patterns into a more connected sense of self. While I support many queer and questioning clients, my practice is open to all men. A free consult is here for you when the time is right.

I provide counselling services in French and English for individuals in matters related to anxiety, depression, life transition, gender, grief, loss and suicide. My practice is founded on the belief that you are not the “problems” present in your life, and that, above all, you are greater than the sum of the events in your life. As my counselling approach is strength-based, Solution-Focused and Narrative-rooted, our conversations will identify, explore and honour the big and small ways you defy and resist “problems”, while re-authoring a deeper and richer version of your life and journey.

I believe curiosity can replace judgment, and this natural curiosity toward people led me into a career in Mental Health, and the creation of my practice in 2019. I’m drawn to modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Approaches.
In my work, I utilize a therapeutic approach that fosters practical and measurable progress for clients. To create that impact, I draw on over ten years of varied work experience, ranging from community-based treatments to private practice and corporate work. This contributes to a creative and open-minded way of counselling, allowing me to pull from this wide range of experience, as well as my coaching work, and deliver real change for people.

Counselling helps us unearth our internal compass, also called our inner intelligence, intuition, or higher self, so that we can relearn how to trust ourselves again. This is important work. Together, I will help you develop your capacity to respond to life’s circumstances and manage the discomfort that you are experiencing. Our pain, anxiety, sadness, love, and joy all have important information for us. They can reveal what is required of us to heal, grow, and even thrive.
My counselling services are collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed while rooted in a holistic approach (body/mind/spirit). I draw from various theoretical lenses, including Existential, Adlerian, Internal Family Systems, Jungian, DBT, and CBT.

My practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, and draws largely from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) – a relational and emotion-focused approach. I believe each person is the expert in their own life and inherently has the knowledge and resources necessary to guide the therapeutic process, make changes, and move toward their preferred ways of living. I am here to support you with this process.
I have a reputation for being non-judgmental and gentle in my approach, which promotes the sense of safety and openness necessary to collaboratively unpack and find relief from the challenges of life. Often, this involves building awareness of old emotional patterns and working together to develop and experience new and preferred patterns in session.

Hi, I am a registered clinical counsellor and psychological first aid provider whose counselling work integrates emotional, physiological and social avenues to achieve lasting positive change. I have supported those struggling with depression, addiction, anxiety, eating disorders, co-dependency, life transitions, emotional regulation, stress management, attachment disorders, self-harm, OCD and other mental health issues. Using a cognitive-behavioural approach (CBT), I work with clients to break and replace self-defeating thoughts and behaviours. Having been raised in a bicultural home, I also recognize the important, yet often difficult, demands placed by family and culture and jointly seeks ways to balance such needs.
