Nicole Bonich
Nicole Bonich
Welcome – I’m glad you’re here. I specialize in supporting men navigating disconnection and loneliness, first responders, and post-secondary students facing academic and personal challenges. My practice is rooted in empathy, resilience, and transformation. Together, we’ll explore what’s possible and help you move forward with more clarity.
Blending psychoanalytic depth and mind-body awareness, I offer space for insight, healing, and meaningful growth – where lasting change begins from within.
If you’ve found yourself here, it may be because something in your life feels tender, heavy, or uncertain – and that matters deeply. If this speaks to you, I invite you to reach out when you’re ready. You don’t have to hold it all

I help individuals manage anxiety and overthinking, self-esteem issues, work-life balance, and life transitions to better control their lives and feel more confident in their abilities. I also support individuals with communication and relationship-related concerns through both individual and couples therapy sessions.
I use an integrative approach to comprehensively understand you and your experiences and provide individualized care based on your background and concerns. I work collaboratively with you to explore your needs, set therapeutic goals, and create an action plan to achieve them. I also share activities and resources to help you implement the skills you learn in sessions in your daily life.

Rob Stanley

I have helped people ask, and answer, the ‘Why?’ question for close to two decades now. During this time, I’ve come to the conclusion that people who seek out therapy are some of the bravest people in the world. I honour the courage that it takes to look inward and admit that you are in need, and I cherish the role that I have in supporting men through these times. I take a blended Narrative / Person-Centred approach to therapy. What this means is I believe that you are the expert of you, and I’m an expert in asking really good questions. Together, we can work to stabilize your thinking, understand your motivations, and increase your awareness. In short, my goal is for you to understand yourself better than you ever have before.

I helps adults who want to be confident and enjoy life, but are feeling stuck and are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression or work and career challenges. I also help couples who want to feel closer and more connected, but are having challenges in that regard.
My areas of care include trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, shame, anger, grief, communication, and vocational direction. My clinical focus uses an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach to counselling. I have training in the integration of different models of counselling, and work with individuals, couples and families.

My basic belief is hopeful and positive: that ultimately people are “good” and are striving for wellness with the internal and external resources they have. I am committed to helping you unpack and leave behind stories and ways of coping that no longer serve your needs, while building resilience and moving towards new ways of relating to self and others, stepping authentically into life and relationships.
As a queer-identified woman, I am particularly interested but not exclusively focused on supporting clients within the LGBTQ2S+ community. I intentionally support overall mental wellness for all men, women and adolescents as we work to resolve, understand and reflect on barriers that exist in attaining psychological well-being.

I hear you. I believe in you. I care. I believe therapy is beneficial because it allows people to share their stories in an environment that is safe and considers their unique needs. I strive to validate people’s emotions (because they are understandable), to highlight their strengths (because sometimes people can’t see them) and to build hope (because it can be restored). My approach draws from the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred techniques amongst others. I aim to help people better understand emotions, process difficult experiences, address unhelpful behaviours and work towards the life they want.

I work with adults—particularly men and queer/trans clients—who feel exhausted by coping alone, disconnected from themselves or others, or under pressure to “hold it together.”
My therapeutic approach is trauma‑informed, relational, and integrative. I draw from somatic therapy, attachment‑based work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and existential and narrative approaches.
Sessions are paced collaboratively, with close attention to nervous system regulation, safety, and consent. Rather than pushing for insight or change before readiness, the work unfolds in a grounded and steady way that supports lasting integration and deeper self‑trust.
I offer remote therapy across British Columbia and Ontario.

In my experience, and according to research, the biggest factor in how well therapy works is the client-therapist relationship. That’s one reason you can expect me to be genuine, empathetic, positive, and affirming. Also, I don’t have a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Instead, I will work with you to custom-fit a therapy experience based on your unique needs and expressed concerns.
