Hello there… As crazy as it might sound, patterns of anxiety, depression, controllingness, addiction, self automation (and others that one may fall into) are all learning environments – challenging us to search for ways to heal self and others. Our world gets better each time one of us takes such steps. After almost fifty years doing this work with others as well as with my self, I can assure you it is worth it. I’ll characterize my approach as practical/spiritual/integrative – and informal : > )

I follow a holistic approach as I feel our physical health and nutrition have a significant impact on our mental health. I have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused therapy, Gottman Method for couples, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, to name a few. I have over 20 years of professional experience as a clinical social worker, and in 2021 completed my Master of Social work in order to further strengthen my ability to help others with their mental health.
Mental Health for men is very important and is often overlooked and downplayed. Like women, men need mental health services and support to help with their own trauma, life changes and challenges. I can help support you in navigating issues such as childhood trauma, postpartum depression, fatherhood, and retirement.
