Therapists in North West Territories
I work online with couples and individuals across Canada (BC, YT, NWT, SK, MB, Nunavut) who want to live with more joy and meaning in their lives in spite of the trauma they’ve faced. Though the past can hold us back, it does not have to define us. The counselling I offer can help you process and integrate your past so that it doesn’t get so much in the way of you achieving what you want in life – whether that be progressing your life and career goals, deepening your relationships with others, processing grief and loss, becoming more confident in your personal identity, or managing and growing through depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. I work to connect you with your emotions and build concrete skills that will help you thrive.

Mr. Paul McIsaac
I have been working with adult individuals and couples for over 10 years now. My practice focuses on existential humanistic therapy, compassionate counselling for those suffering grief, loss, pain, and isolation. Ultimately, the main goal is to discover one’s meaning and develop it to build more strength and confidence to achieve other goals. Many of my clients are men suffering depression, some even contemplating suicide. I use cognitive behavioural therapy to assist them in analyzing and coordinating their thoughts, behaviours, and actions into more effective and satisfying lives. I work online and by telephone with Canadian clients in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as the Territories. Remote therapy only.
I work with adults (18+) who are experiencing concerns with depression, anxiety, addiction, and/or relationship issues. My training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (both for individuals and couples). As a therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients with a non-judgmental approach. Using evidence-based therapies, we can work together to develop a plan to reach your goals.
Call and request an initial appointment by phone or email. Once you get to your appointment, explain your symptoms and what’s going on in your life.
