Hi there! I’m Mx. Lauren Johnson, and my pronouns are he/him/his(/they/she). I am the psychotherapist + founder of Neuroqueering Counseling Services, LLC, + I am so glad that you’re here! I provide telehealth therapy to self-pay clients based on Monacan land statewide in Virginia, USA. I am a queer, neurodivergent human, advocate, educator, + therapist. As an Autistic ADHD’er whose special interest is mental health, I highly value lived experience + incorporate it with my clinical training. I approach therapy with a non-pathologizing lens, as I believe in difference, not disorder. I specialize in working with trauma survivors with diverse lived experience from the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, + non-monogamous communities. (Self-pay only.)

It may take reaching out to 3+ therapists to find one who is currently accepting new clients. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear back right away. Keep reaching out to therapists until you get a response. Your better health is worth the effort.
